Ed Sparks possesses extensive experience in the engineering field, having worked at CSX since January 1994 in various capacities, including Chief Engineer for Bridges, Design & Construction, and Assistant Chief Engineer of Structures. Prior roles include Division Engineer, Engineer of Track, and other engineering positions focused on structures and standards. Ed's early career involved experiences as a Field Technician at Alt & Witzig Engineering, a Laborer at Pilot Building Contractor, and a Stock Clerk at 7up Bottling. Ed holds an MBA in Business Administration from Jacksonville University and a BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, as well as participation in a Business Leadership Program at the University of Maryland.
