Jean-Baptiste Chene has been a Senior Project Manager and Head of the Acoustics Division at CSTB since July 2002, overseeing two units focused on Research and Expertise, as well as Testing, with a combined team of 32 staff and PhD students. As Head of the Acoustics Laboratory, Chene manages a team that has conducted measurements since the 1960s, including activities in a new facility established in 1998. Additionally, Chene served as an Assessor for COFRAC from January 2008 to December 2021, conducting technical audits in line with ISO/IEC 17025 for Building Acoustic Laboratories. Chene holds a Master's degree in Acoustic from Le Mans Université and an Ingenieur degree in Civil Engineering from Centrale Nantes.
