Angel Junes, PhD, serves as an Assessment, Research & Expertise Engineer at the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) since March 2015, contributing to the "Structures, Maçonneries et Partitions" division and acting as Rapporteur for the expert group GS n°3. Prior experience includes a role as an R&D Engineer at UCBL Lyon Ingénierie from July 2011 to August 2014, focusing on the development of textile reinforced concrete composites for industrial production. As a Structural Engineer at VSM Engineering Consulting from November 2006 to July 2009, responsibilities included the design and analysis of bridges and structural works. Earlier professional experience involved a civil engineering internship at Biblioteca Nacional del Peru, where duties encompassed concrete formwork control and earthworks supervision. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Ecole Doctorale MEGA at LyonTech, a Master’s degree in Génie Civil from INSA Lyon, an MSc in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Engineering in Peru.
