Francesca Kay is an accomplished Chief Information Officer at the Central Statistics Office since December 2020, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Interim Deputy National Statistician and Transformation Director at the Office for National Statistics from September 2013 to October 2020. Francesca also held positions as Senior Project Manager at the Office of National Statistics and Business Solutions Manager at The UNITE Group from 2008 to February 2011. Earlier in the career, Francesca worked as IT Solution Manager and later Head of Test at Virgin Mobile, overseeing key IT project management and testing responsibilities. Francesca holds a BSc (Econ) in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science, completed between 1983 and 1986.
