Michelle Strucke is a highly experienced professional in international relations and humanitarian affairs, currently serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Partnerships and Principal Director for Stability and Humanitarian Affairs at the United States Department of Defense. With a rich background as a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project, Michelle has also held senior roles at Oxfam America, including Senior Policy Manager for Aid & Development Finance. Prior positions include Public Affairs Manager at Islamic Relief USA and Director of Grants and Policy Advocacy at the Syrian American Medical Society, where Michelle led policy advocacy efforts during a significant humanitarian crisis. Michelle has a strong educational foundation with an M.A. in International Human Rights Law from The American University in Cairo and a B.A. in Sociology and Politics from Ithaca College.
