Samuel Unterhofer is an R&D Engineer at CSEM since February 2019, having held various titles including Associate R&D Engineer and R&D Additive Manufacturing Technician. Previous experience includes maintenance of landscape duties with Civil Service and research collaboration at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale focusing on biodegradable plastics and asymmetric carbonyl reduction research for active drug production. Samuel has also contributed to the development of a sugar controller and self-lubricating polymers, along with work on ammonia filters utilizing renewable materials. Earlier roles include QC Laboratory Technician positions at Ginsana SA, where tasks involved QC analysis in a GMP environment. Samuel completed a Master of Science in Life Science, Chemical Development & Production and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Engineering, both from HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, and holds a Laboratory Technician degree from SPAI Trevano.
