Julien Gay is an R&D Engineer at CSEM since September 2020, focusing on nanoscale technology with expertise in wet coating deposition and surface functionalization for applications in gas sensing, photovoltaics, and energy storage. Prior to this role, Julien completed an R&D internship and a Master's thesis project at Scitec Research SA in 2018. Julien earned a Master of Science in Materials Science from EPFL (September 2018 - April 2021), completed an exchange year in Chemical Engineering at The University of Edinburgh (2017 - 2018), and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from EPFL (2015 - 2018).
