Melissa Derr is an experienced Assistive Technology Specialist currently working at EdTech Solutions Inc since September 2017, with previous roles at Salem Public Schools and Advancing Opportunities. Melissa has a strong background in preparing and implementing lesson plans tailored to align with educational and vocational goals, regularly assessing and adapting strategies to meet student needs. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Education Teacher at Madison Metropolitan School District, where Melissa co-taught inclusive classrooms and developed behavioral plans. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching as well as a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Syracuse University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution.
