Arto Ruotsalainen is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the 3D imaging and software industries. Currently serving as the General Manager and Head of Product for CRYENGINE at Crytek since June 2021, Arto previously held the position of Vice President, Global Business at RapidCompact by DGG and Head of Ecosystem and Strategy at trinamiX GmbH. As a co-founder and CEO of Basemark, Arto was instrumental in creating industry-leading performance evaluation tools and software solutions. Prior experience includes significant roles at Rightware, Futuremark, NVIDIA, and Indiepath, demonstrating a strong background in project management, software engineering, and user interface solutions. Arto holds certifications in Project Management, Agile - Scrum, and Leadership from Tieturi, along with a background in education from the University of Jyväskylä.
