Eric Kennedy

Eric Kennedy is a graduate student researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder since August 2020. With extensive experience in emergency management and rescue, Eric has held multiple roles including ski patroller at Crystal Mountain Resort, where responsibilities included responding to medical emergencies and performing avalanche control, and a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service. Previous positions include professional ski patroller at the Summit at Snoqualmie, volunteer EMT with Aero Methow Rescue Service, and an intern with the Northwest Avalanche Center focusing on social media strategy. Eric's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Colorado and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Business Economics from Seattle University, alongside an Emergency Medical Technician certificate from North Seattle College.
