Brad Olson is a board member at Crux. Brad was previously with ECS Limited from June 2018 to October 2020, where they were Geotechnical Staff Assistant / Field Manager. Brad was responsible for managing a group of field technicians and coordinating all work with subcontractors. Brad also balanced the scheduling of 20+ projects at any one time, led all field and lab testing, made sure ASTM standards are followed, drafted proposals and reports for project engineers, ran Refraction Microtremor (ReMi) data acquisition and reduction, and ran field pressuremeter testing with the Menard & Pencel models.
Before that, they were with Stones of The Yarra Valley from October 2017 to May 2018 as Special Events Staff. Brad's responsibilities included filling numerous rolls at this 200+ person, high-end special events venue. The position required a broad skill set: responsibility, organization, flexibility and adaptability, while setting a tone for high-level customer service. This role expanded their capacity for intercultural relations; attracting guests from Australia, Asia and Europe.
Brad was also Intramural Sport Coordinator at Western Washington University from September 2013 to June 2016.
