Ruslan Golub has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Ruslan started their career in 2004 as a System Administrator at The Center for Human Rights of Moldova and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2015, they served as a System Administrator at Speranta PF-COM SRL. In 2015, they joined YOPESO as an IT System Administrator and worked there until 2017. Starting in 2017, they joined Crunchyroll and held various roles including IT Administrator, Senior IT Engineer, and currently serves as an IT Manager.

Ruslan Golub completed their education with a Master's degree in Informatics from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova between 2005 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution between 2001 and 2005.

Ruslan has also acquired several certifications in the field of networking and security. These include the MikroTik Certified Security Engineer (MTCSE) from MikroTik, obtained in February 2023, the MikroTik Certified Enterprise Wireless Engineer (MTCEWE) from MikroTik, obtained in November 2021, the Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin and UniFi Network Specialist from Ubiquiti Inc., both achieved in June 2021. Additionally, Ruslan has obtained certifications such as MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCUME) in December 2018, MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer (MTCWE) in December 2017, MikroTik Certified IPv6 Engineer (MTCIPv6E) in September 2017, MikroTik Certified Traffic Control Engineer (MTCTCE) in June 2017, MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) in December 2016, MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) in March 2016, and MikroTik Certified Inter-Networking Engineer (MTCINE) in February 2019.
