Gagan Kochar has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 with Visa, where they served as the Director of Business Development, deepening Visa's Commercial Card penetration with member banks in India and engaging with Government bodies on behalf of Visa. In 2007, they joined American Express - Corporate Services as the Head of Alliances for Global Commercial Card and later became the Business Manager for B2B Payments in India. During their time at American Express, they evolved an India-specific go-to-market strategy, developed a productive B2B Payments ecosystem, and designed risk and pricing structures for capturing recurring payment flows. In 2020, Gagan co-founded PayEnable Business Solutions, where they created new use cases for available technology and developed industry-focused platforms to embed finance into the client's customer journey. Additionally, they are currently the Head of Business Development for India at Crunchfish AB, focused on bringing robustness to digital payments to minimize dependence on internet connectivity and enable contactless payments.
