Steve Kenner currently serves as the Chief Safety Officer at Cruise, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Kenner was the Vice President of Safety at Kodiak Robotics and held multiple key roles at Locomation, Aurora, and Uber Advanced Technologies Group, focusing on safety and product integrity. With extensive experience at Ford Motor Company spanning over a decade as Global Director of the Automotive Safety Office and Engineering Director for South America, Kenner's background includes leadership in vehicle safety governance, regulatory compliance, and engineering. Previous positions also include Engineering Director at Chrysler LLC and early career as an Engineer at General Motors. Kenner holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BSME from Kettering University.
