Stephen Lee is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in hardware and software co-design, having held various positions across several companies since 2012. Currently a Hardware/Software Co-Design Engineer at Cruise since August 2020, Stephen previously worked as a Hardware Engineer at Pony.ai and as a Signal Processing and VHDL Design Engineer at Escape Communications, Inc. Notably, at the Information Sciences Institute, Stephen led significant work in Single Event Effect testing and developed sophisticated FPGA solutions. With a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a solid foundation in quality assurance and research through earlier internships, Stephen combines technical expertise with strong project management skills and a history of mentoring graduate research assistants.
