Carmel Sutcliffe serves as the Technology Architecture and Commercial Lead at Crown Commercial Service, where responsibilities include data privacy and compliance with a strong focus on GDPR implementation. Since joining Crown Commercial Service in April 2012, Carmel has held several leadership roles, including Head of Privacy and Data Protection, Data Protection Manager, and Head Of Service Assurance, and has managed e-Commerce special projects. Prior experience includes positions as Head of e-Enablement at Buying Solutions, Head of e-Sourcing at OGCbuying.solutions, and Procurement Consultant at the Office of Government Commerce, among others. Carmel holds an MCIPS degree in Procurement from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
