Chris Mathers is a maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Chief Mate at Crowley since December 2018, Chris has held multiple positions including 2nd Mate and Training Mate. In addition to time at Crowley, Chris has contributed to American Service Technology as part of the Shore Gang since May 2018, and previously worked as 2nd Mate at Foss Maritime Company for a brief period. Prior experience includes serving as Mate at G&H Towing and as 1600 Ton Master at Gulfmark Offshore. Chris's career began at Texas Crew Boats, where a significant tenure as Senior Captain was completed. Educational credentials include training at several maritime institutions such as Beier Radio, San Jacinto Maritime, and others from 2011 to 2012, and earlier studies at Alvin Community College from 1993 to 1994.
