Ioana Croitoru is a Research Engineer at V7 since March 2023 and a Research Collaborator at the University of Oxford since March 2020, focusing on the intersection of natural language processing and video processing, particularly in text-video retrieval and moment detection. Prior experience includes a Research Scientist Internship at Adobe, a Junior Researcher position at the Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, and multiple software engineering internships at Facebook. Ioana's educational background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from the School of Advanced Studies of the Romanian Academy and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Additionally, Ioana serves as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Politehnica University of Bucharest, instructing students in various topics related to computer science.
