Aram Melkoumov has held a variety of roles in both the corporate and entrepreneurial world. In 2012, they co-founded and served as CEO of Crowdlinker, an end-to-end digital product studio. In 2016, they became a mentor for Futurpreneur Canada, a national non-profit organization dedicated to growing the economy one entrepreneur at a time. In 2018, they co-founded and served as COO of ReVenture, a company of highly-skilled, dedicated, and passionate people working to change the world by mobilizing energy innovation. In 2019, they became an investor in Livelii and an advisor for Hey Filmmaker, a mobile application where film professionals can showcase their work and connect locally. In 2020, they became an advisor for Forum Ventures, the leading early-stage fund, program and community for B2B SaaS startups, and an investor and advisor for Loyal VC. In 2021, they became an investor in a Stealth Startup. Additionally, in 2019 they became a sponsor for InnovationTO, a meetup series for anyone interested in exchanging ideas on executing innovation pilots within an enterprise/corporate environment.
Aram Melkoumov has a diverse educational background. Aram. attended Lakefield College School from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a High School diploma. Aram. then attended McGill University from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree in Entrepreneurship. Following this, they attended Ryerson University from 2007 to 2009, also obtaining a B.Comm degree in Entrepreneurship. In 2010 and 2011, they completed the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct and Practices Handbook at the Canadian Securities Institute. In 2014, they became a Founder at the Founder Institute, studying Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. Aram. is currently enrolled at the CFA Institute, where they are pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree in Investments and Securities, with an expected graduation date of 2023.
