David García Carbayo has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. David is currently working as the CTO at CrowdFarming since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Banco Santander Mexico as the Chief Business Technologist - Digital from December 2020 to February 2022, where they led the team responsible for managing and evolving the bank's mobile banking, online banking, and digital payment channels. David was also involved in the launch of new products such as the mobile application, LikeU, and Samsung Wallet.

Before their role at Banco Santander, David worked at BBVA Next Technologies, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in January 2014 and later taking on roles such as Cloud Solutions Architect and Account Manager. David eventually became the Head of Technology Mexico and the Delivery Manager for BBVA Bancomer, where they coordinated project deliveries and was responsible for technology in the CDMX office.

Additionally, David has experience as a lecturer at CIFF Business School for the Master in Big Data program from February 2015 to May 2017.

Before their career in banking and technology, David worked as a freelance web developer at DGCmedia, where they developed web applications, handled SEO and advertising, and worked with Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing.
