Coen Kuiper is a highly experienced coastal engineer and hydraulic specialist with a career spanning over two decades. Currently employed at Witteveen+Bos since October 2007, Coen focuses on designing complex coastal structures and exploring innovative solutions. Additional roles include being a member of the technical committee for updating geotextile guidelines at CROW, leading water construction efforts for the Afsluitdijk project with Levvel, and serving as a part-time specialist in coastal and hydraulic engineering at TU Delft. Coen’s previous experiences encompass project management at the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands, coastal engineering at Deltares, and designing offshore rock islands for K-WAC. Coen holds multiple master's degrees in relevant fields from prestigious institutions, including Delft University of Technology and MARIN USA, along with a BSc in Civil and Coastal Engineering from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
