Garrin McGoldrick, currently working as Machine Learning Team Lead at Crossing Minds since January 2022, has a background as a Founder at Resonant DSP, where Garrin built and deployed software tools for media creators. Prior to that, at Borealis AI from May 2017 to September 2019, Garrin worked as a Technical Team Lead Applied Scientist, leading a team of 4 in researching, deploying, and patenting an NLP product. Garrin also has experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at various companies, including working on ETL pipelines and Pytorch training model efficiency and parallelization. With a background in experimental particle physics, Garrin has a PhD in the field from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Queen's University.
