Loïc Porte is currently an analyst at Crossboundary. Prior to that, they were an economist and financial analyst at the African Financial Institutions Investment Platform from January to March 2022. Loïc also worked as a sovereign advisory at Rothschild & Co from July to October 2021. From May 2020 to July 2021, they were a research assistant in a joint research project with Pr. Mathieu Couttenier in Political Economy and Natural Resources. Loïc was also a research assistant to Pr. Matthieu Couttenier from November 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an economist (macroeconomics and prevision) at Rexecode from June to September 2019. Loïc also worked as an economic and financial attaché at the Direction générale du Trésor (French Treasury) from September 2018 to December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a fixed income sales trader (high-yield, emerging markets & repo) at ING from July 2017 to December 2017.

Loïc Porte attended the École normale supérieure de Lyon, where they earned a Master Advanced Economics. Loïc then went on to earn a Master in Management - Programme Grande Ecole from ESSEC Business School with a focus in finance. Finally, they completed a Classe Préparatoire Economique et Commerciale option Economie (ECE) at Lycée Sainte-Croix, studying macroeconomics, microeconomics, mathematics and philosophy.
