Karen Burnell Maestas, LMSW, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social work and operations management within healthcare settings. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Cross City Church since July 2017, Karen oversees human resources, payroll, and benefits for multiple campuses while facilitating a DivorceCare support group. Previous roles include Clinical Social Worker/Program Therapist at Garland Behavioral Hospital and various leadership positions at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, where Karen was instrumental in operations, education, quality assurance, and bereavement coordination. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Baylor University and a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia.
