Caroline Townshend is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head at Crosfields School since April 2023, a co-educational institution for children aged 3-16. Previously, Caroline held the position of Head at Eaton Square Schools from August 2020 to December 2022 and was Co-Head at Eaton Square Mayfair from April 2018 to August 2020, contributing to the establishment of a new independent school for ages 11 to 18. Caroline's earlier roles include Head of Lower School at St John's School Leatherhead from September 2011 to April 2018, where responsibilities encompassed the setup and operation of the Lower School and the education and well-being of Year 7 and 8 pupils. Additionally, Caroline has experience as a Teacher of Biology and Psychology and as Assistant Head of Sixth Form with overall responsibility for careers. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Psychology from the University of Southampton and a PGCE in Secondary Science with a Biology specialism from Goldsmiths, University of London.
