Elena Turnbull currently serves as the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator for the Rowan County Crosby Scholars Community Partnership since March 2023. Previously, Elena held roles including Coach and Assistant Tournament Director at Beach South Volleyball Club from May 2016 to June 2023, and Business Marketing Teacher at Southeast Middle School from August 2022 to March 2023. Additionally, Elena was the Interim Head Beach Volleyball Coach at Catawba College for a brief period in early 2022, and completed an internship with the National Sports Media Association in late 2021. As a student athlete at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington from August 2017 to May 2021, Elena earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in Business, followed by a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication from the same institution between June 2021 and May 2022. Further experience includes working as a Childcare Provider at the YMCA of Rowan County from June 2018 to April 2020.
