Amanda Carter has extensive experience in emergency services and healthcare management, currently serving as a CSR/Dispatcher at Cropp Metcalfe since May 2019. Amanda also holds the position of Chief, AEMT at the Marshall Volunteer Rescue Squad since June 2001, where responsibilities include responding to 911 emergency calls, managing volunteer schedules, and training new volunteers. Prior roles include Patient Account Specialist at Blue Ridge from January 2012 to April 2019, and Medical Billing Specialist at Heritage Medical Billing from January 1999 to December 2011. Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Healthcare Management with a concentration in Emergency Medical Services from Columbia Southern University from 2012 to 2016, and earned an Advanced Diploma from Fauquier High School in 2001.
