Emily Richter has a diverse work experience starting with internships at The Marlow House, The Office of International Education, and Epting Events in 2011. Emily then worked as an Event Coordinator at The Laster Law Firm, LLC in 2011-2012 and as a Marketing Coordinator at Opportunity Knocks- Jobs that Change the World from 2012-2013. From 2013-2015, they held roles as a Walk Coordinator and later a Walk Specialist at the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. In 2016, they joined the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation as a Community Director and later progressed to become the Executive Director from 2018-2021. Most recently, they have held positions as a Director of Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement and currently as a Senior Director in the same field at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation since 2021 and 2023 respectively.
Emily Richter attended Holy Innocents' Episcopal School from 2004 to 2008. Emily did not obtain a specific degree or study a specific field during this time. After completing their high school education, Emily enrolled at The University of Georgia in 2008 and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in Recreation and Leisure Studies.
