Ruth Scully is mother of Sarah & Adam Scully, both of whom have inflammatory bowel disease: Sarah has ulcerative colitis and Adam has Crohn’s disease. As a result of their conditions, Ruth has been very actively involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada since 2004. Over the years, Ruth has sat on the organization’s Board Advisory Council, the Marketing Task Force, the Grants in Aid Review Committee, the Development Committee and was Vice President of the Toronto Chapter, volunteer at Gutsy Walks, Toronto Galas, Golf Tournaments and M&M Barbecues.
