Vanessa Rose is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, currently serving as the Global R&T Manager at Croda since April 2023. Prior to this role, Vanessa accumulated valuable experience at Syngenta from December 2014 to April 2023, where positions included Team Leader in Formulation Development and technical specialist roles focusing on Biocontrols and RNA formulation. Earlier research at The University of Nottingham involved synthesizing novel polymeric materials for nucleic acid delivery, complemented by a short research stint at Sungkyunkwan University applying RNA multimers for enhanced delivery. Vanessa's career also includes research positions at Novartis and Charité, where significant contributions were made to biomarker discovery and the study of cellular aging effects, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham and an Engineer's Degree in Medicinal Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin.
