Matt Ziance, an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh (Johnstown - Class of 2013) has carved a remarkable path in the realms of account leadership, marketing and social media, distinguished by his adaptability and strategic vision. Matt's career journey began with a formative experience at Under Armour, where, as a Social Media Rookie Intern (Footwear), Matt displayed his prowess in enhancing brand engagement and digital presence through insightful analysis and strategy implementation. This foundational role set the stage for his future successes.
At NBC Sports and Golf Channel, Matt's trajectory saw him evolve from a Coordinator to Managing campaigns and partnerships (with the NFL, NHL, PLL, Olympics, and more!) within the Consumer Engagement Marketing team. His role as Producer of Social Media particularly showcased his skill in crafting impactful digital content that resonated across global audiences. His significant contributions were part of the team's success in winning the Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Matt was also part of the team that won the Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Interactive Experience (2020/2021 Tokyo Olympic Games).

Matt Ziance attended Westmont Hilltop High School from 2005 to 2009, where he obtained his High School Diploma. Matt then pursued higher education at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Marketing. In 2018 to 2019, he furthered his education at Columbia University, receiving an Ivy League Certificate in the Sports Industry Essentials field of study. Matt is currently enrolled in the Project Leadership Certificate program offered by Cornell University (eCornell) and is expected to complete the program in July 2024.
