Alicia Miao has accumulated significant work experience in various design roles. Alicia is currently working at Critical Mass as a Design Operations Specialist since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Designer at Critical Mass from February 2020 to May 2023.

Before joining Critical Mass, Alicia was employed by Shutterfly, Inc. as a Senior Graphic Designer from October 2019 to February 2020. Alicia also worked at Gymboree as a Design Manager from February 2018 to August 2018, where they led the design and execution of marketing needs for the brand.

Alicia ventured into freelance work as a Graphic Designer and Art Director from July 2017 to January 2018 as a self-employed individual. Their skills were also utilized at Tea Collection, where they held positions such as Associate Art Director from February 2016 to July 2017 and Graphic Designer from August 2013 to February 2016. In these roles, they collaborated with various teams to develop photo art direction, seasonal marketing campaigns, and design assets.

Alicia gained valuable experience in retail design during their time at Gap Inc./Gap, where they worked as a Graphic Designer for their GapKids & BabyGap retail design team from March 2012 to August 2013. Before that, Alicia gained internship experience at Premier Retail Networks as a Design intern from June 2011 to March 2012 and at Jack Rouse Associates as a Graphic Co-Op from January 2011 to March 2011.

Alicia began their career at Apple Inc. as a Graphic Design - Retail Channels Intern from June 2010 to September 2010 and later served as a Creative Co-Op at LPK from June 2009 to March 2010.

Through their diverse work experience, Alicia has developed expertise in design operations, graphic design, art direction, marketing, and retail design.

Alicia Miao pursued their undergraduate education from 2006 to 2011 at the University of Cincinnati. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Design with a specialization in Graphic Design as their field of study.
