Matthieu Martin, PhD, is a Senior Researcher at Criteo, specializing in statistical tools for AB testing within the Causality team at Criteo AI Lab since April 2019. Prior to this role, Matthieu was a PhD student at EPFL, focusing on optimal control for systems governed by partial differential equations with random coefficients, as well as uncertainty quantification and machine learning techniques. Matthieu's earlier experience includes positions as a Business Analyst at RideSurfing, where data science was applied in the ride-sharing sector, and as a Cyltrack database analyst at Coregas Pty Ltd, where demand forecasting was conducted using advanced data science methods. Matthieu holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from EPFL and two Master's degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from CentraleSupélec and Computational and Applied Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
