Dyana Thompson is a seasoned professional in the fields of crisis management, mental health, and victim assistance with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Global Professional Instructor at Crisis Prevention Institute since September 2022, Dyana also functions as a NOVA Trainer for the National Organization for Victim Assistance since July 2014, focusing on training volunteers in community response. Previous roles include a Mental Health Authorization/Utilization Reviewer for Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission, where responsibilities included service authorization and monitoring, and a variety of training and coordination roles related to disaster response, mental health, and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Dyana holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Sociology from Thiel College and is credentialed through the NOVA Victim Assistance Academy.
