Tanya Vachal began their work experience in 2009 as a Manager at Job Service North Dakota and held this position until 2011. From 2011 to 2021, they worked at TrainND-Northwest: Williston State College as a Business Relations/Sales Manager. In 2021, they transitioned to Williston State College where they served as the Director for Human Resources until 2022. Currently, Tanya is employed as a Human Resources Generalist at Creedence Energy Services, LLC, starting in August 2022.

Tanya Vachal obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of North Dakota between 1996 and 1997. Tanya then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of Mary from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Tanya attended the University of North Dakota - Williston (WSC) between 1994 and 1995, but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, Tanya has obtained certifications as a DDI Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International in July 2013 and as OSHA 511 from Mountain West OSHA Training Center in August 2012.
