Marcus James Sr. currently serves as the Physical Security Program Manager at the NCUA, where responsibilities include planning, implementing, and managing the Physical Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Program since September 2015. Prior to this role, Marcus held significant positions, including Deputy Chief Security Officer at The White House, overseeing physical security for the Executive Office of the President, and Senior Security Specialist at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, responsible for executing various security programs. Additional experience includes serving as a Physical Security Specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce and Lead Security Specialist at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Marcus began a career in security with the United States Air Force, where duties encompassed a wide range of security force activities over more than two decades. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business/Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Security and Management from the University of Phoenix.
