Hitesh Avachat is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Director and Group Head of Corporate Ratings at CARE Ratings Ltd. since November 2009. With expertise in the Metals & Mining and Shipping sectors, Hitesh has played a pivotal role in corporate credit ratings. Prior to this, Hitesh worked as a Research Analyst at Prime Broking Company India Ltd. focusing on equity research in the Metals and Auto sectors from April 2008 to November 2009. Hitesh also gained experience at CRISIL in research and held an executive position at Caliber Point Business Solutions from 2004 to 2005. Education was obtained at P.M.M. Inner Wheel School.
