Norman S. Gordon is the current Director at Credence Medsystems. Norman has also previously served as the Vice President of Research and Development (R&D), Implants and Instruments at ArthroCare Corporation from November 2004 to May 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing a remote R&D office and heading product development, as well as helping to define the future product portfolio for the company's business unit. Additionally, they oversaw development groups in two different offices.
Prior to their time at ArthroCare Corporation, Norman served as the Vice President of Engineering at SafeShot Technologies, LLC and Opus Medical, Inc. from December 1999 to November 2004. At Opus Medical, they directed the R&D effort and built the Intellectual Property portfolio for startup before it was sold to Arthrocare Corp. From January 1992 to April 1998, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Laurus Medical Corporation where they founded the startup and developed suturing instruments for pelvic floor reconstruction. The company was eventually sold to Boston Scientific.
Norman S. Gordon received their BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.
