Bizzy Day is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the arts and film sectors, currently serving as the Development & Partnerships Manager (Industry) at Creative UK since April 2024. Previously, Bizzy held the position of Chief Executive at Encounters Film Festival, where responsibilities included advising the Board on financial health during organizational changes. Earlier roles included Business Affairs Executive and Production Executive at FFILM CYMRU WALES C.B.C, where Bizzy managed rights and legal documentation for film productions. As the Founder and Executive Director of The Other Room, a pub theatre in Cardiff, Bizzy developed significant leadership skills. Additional experiences include a variety of freelance consultancy roles, producing for National Youth Theatre Wales, and creative internships focused on fundraising. Bizzy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Drama from the University of Wales, Newport, and a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from Wiltshire College.
