Scott Lalonde serves as the VP Chief Underwriting Officer at Hanleigh Special Risk, a CRC/Truist Company, since February 2019. Previously, Scott held several key roles, including Product Lead for Life, Disability, and Absence Management at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from July 2017 to February 2019, and Senior Product Director at AIG from March 2016 to July 2017. At MassMutual from April 2004 to March 2016, Scott directed a team that managed sales support and partnerships while overseeing underwriting teams and risk management trends. Earlier experiences include roles as a Quantitative Risk Consultant and Chief Multi-life Underwriter at Unum, Senior Claim Consultant at Swiss Re, and Senior Claim Examiner at Monarch Life Insurance. Scott obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and studied Organizational Leadership at Quinnipiac University.
