Shannon Peterson, CRM/CIGO, IGP, currently serves as the Global Director of Records Information Management at Crawford & Company since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Information Governance Program Manager and Senior Data Governance Analyst at UMB Bank, and Information Governance Specialist at InOutsource, where Shannon managed information governance for Lathrop Gage, focusing on the governance of legal records throughout their life-cycle. Previous positions also include Lead Records Management Analyst and SharePoint/FileNet Administrator at Kansas City Power & Light, where Shannon oversaw records retention, metadata organization, and document management systems. Earlier career experience encompasses contract negotiation and records coordination at Aquila, Inc., as well as administrative roles at Thrifty Car Rental/Flacks Enterprises LLC. Shannon holds a high school diploma from Kearney Senior High School and attended Missouri State University from 1997 to 1999.
