Monte Simonton possesses extensive experience in fire services and military leadership. As a Training Specialist at Crane Institute of America, Inc., Monte focuses on developing training programs. Prior experience includes serving as District Chief at Ft. Benning Fire Department from April 1975 to August 2003 and holding the rank of Major in the U.S. Army Reserve from September 1966 to August 2001. Education includes attendance at the Command General Staff College from 1992 to 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Troy University.
