Danielle has over 19 years of expeÂriÂence in nursÂing and has priÂmarÂiÂly worked in the rurÂal and remote setÂting. She has qualÂiÂfiÂcaÂtions in; clinÂiÂcal eduÂcaÂtion, genÂerÂal pracÂtice manÂageÂment, project manÂageÂment, dual MasÂters of NursÂing and is an Adjunct ProÂfesÂsor with James Cook UniÂverÂsiÂty. She worked as an AIN while studyÂing her RNs and has worked in many difÂferÂent areas of nursÂing across NSW and QLD; from genÂerÂal pracÂtice, occuÂpaÂtionÂal health, mine site medic, priÂmaÂry health projects, eduÂcaÂtor and director.
Danielle was the first nurse on the hosÂpiÂtal and health serÂvice boards when they began in QueensÂland back in 2012. She is curÂrentÂly the ExecÂuÂtive DirecÂtor of NursÂing and MidÂwifery for CenÂtral West HosÂpiÂtal and Health SerÂvice which covÂers 23% of the state and is equivÂaÂlent to the size of France.
In 2022 she gradÂuÂatÂed from the InterÂnaÂtionÂal CounÂcil of Nurse’s GlobÂal Nurse LeadÂerÂship ScholÂars proÂgram and also startÂed with the AusÂtralian ColÂlege of NursÂes PolÂiÂcy FelÂlow program.
