Md. Shohag Mia has a work experience of four years. Md. Shohag currently works as a Software Development Engineer II at Craftsmen since 2022. Previously, they worked at BJIT from 2018 to 2021, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. As a Senior Software Engineer, they mainly focused on developing a web application that could display 3D Navisworks design files in a browser. Md. Shohag utilized the Autodesk forge viewer library for this purpose and customized the default behavior, added custom features, and implemented functions such as capturing the model's current state, making comments, exporting comments to a MS doc, and creating clipping views. As a Software Engineer at BJIT, they developed REST APIs for an E-commerce site using Node.js and Express.

Md. Shohag Mia completed their primary and secondary education from Hatshira Lakshmipur High School, where they earned their S.S.C degree with a focus in Science in the years 2006-2010. Subsequently, they attended Rajshahi University in Bangladesh from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc Engineering) degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
