Joshua Mayo is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at Cracker Barrel since April 2021. Previously, Joshua held the position of Vice President of Compliance at Alto from July 2019 to April 2021 and spent several years at Cumberland Trust as Vice President & Senior Counsel, Vice President & Fiduciary Counsel, and Assistant Vice President from December 2013 to July 2019. Joshua’s legal career began in the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, where roles included Officer & Attorney in the Legal Resources Division and Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division from March 2003 to May 2013. Joshua also practiced independently at the Law Office of Joshua Mayo as Attorney & Counselor At Law from November 2012 to December 2013. Joshua holds a Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law (2012), a Master of Arts in Psychology/Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University (2006), and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration/Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University (2002).
