Troy Wood

VP Customer Support at CQG

Troy Wood has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Troy started their career at Xpit.com in 2000 as a Customer Relations representative. From there, they joined CQG in 2001, where they held roles as a Support Technician and later as a Customer Relations representative. During their time at CQG, they integrated with sales to provide product demonstrations and trainings, as well as negotiated business deals with international Banks and Clearing Firms. Troy also developed and implemented successful training programs and policies for support personnel. In 2006, Troy was promoted to the role of Trade Routing Manager at CQG, where they launched a worldwide customer support desk for Futures Clearing Merchants and Clearing Banks. Under their leadership, the program grew substantially, with international locations processing over three million orders per week. Troy also designed and implemented a crisis process for support during service disruptions. In 2017, they assumed the position of Director of FCM and API Client Relations at CQG, and most recently, they have been serving as the VP of Customer Support since 2018.

Troy Wood obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Weber State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree at Brigham Young University - Idaho. The field of study for their AAS degree is not provided.
