Anke Beyer-Lout

Associate Principal at CPP Wind

Anke joined CPP Wind as an Atmospheric Scientist in May 2008. Her focus is data centers and evaluating the design and operational challenges due to winds and exhaust re-entrainment.

Anke holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and a Master of Science in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University. Before joining CPP, Anke worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Meteorology at Pennsylvania State University, focusing on developing and implementing strategies for data assimilation in prognostic dispersion models.

Throughout her career at CPP, Anke has conducted numerous wind tunnel and numerical assessments of outdoor comfort, air quality, and snow impact. She has been instrumental in developing procedures for conducting site-specific meteorological data assessments, and a new hybrid wind tunnel modeling approach that has been tested against an EPA field database.

Anke has grown and led a team of engineers for several years, is a co-author on numerous technical papers, and has presented at various conferences.
