Maram Al-Sayaghi

Process Engineer at CPH2

Maram Al-Sayaghi has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering. Maram most recently worked as a Process Engineer at Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Process Engineer (Experimental Support Officer) at the University of Leeds from January 2021 to May 2023, where they worked on process flowsheeting and modelling of nuclear fuel recycle processes as part of major research programs. Maram also worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Dakota from March 2017 to May 2019, where they conducted experiments on polymeric membranes for natural gas separation/purification and taught undergraduate classes in chemical engineering. Additionally, Maram had internships and lab assistant roles at the University of Leeds from June 2015 to September 2016, where they worked on the treatment of micro-algae to extract biofuels and oils from fish waste.

Maram Al-Sayaghi has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Leeds from 2013 to 2016. Before pursuing their Bachelor's degree, they also attended the University of Leeds for an International Foundation Year in Engineering from 2012 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in the University of Leeds Peer Mentoring Programme in September 2013.
