Afonso Murta is an experienced Project Officer at CDP since June 2022, managing relationships with over 30 clients, primarily in France and Benelux, and handling tailored data requests and investor engagement initiatives. Prior to this role, Afonso served as a Trainee in Capital Markets, assisting account managers and facilitating client data analysis requests. Previous experience includes working as a Sustainable Finance/Private Equity Analyst at Maingreen, where Afonso analyzed the Portuguese market for sustainable investment opportunities, and as a Special Projects Intern at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Afonso holds a Master's degree in Management from ESCP Business School and a Master of Science in Finance from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Additional academic experiences were obtained through exchange programs and summer schools at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
