Jerrod Smith is an experienced executive with a strong background in sales strategy and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Cox Communities at Cox Communications since June 2022. Prior to this role, Jerrod held various senior positions at Comcast Cable, where responsibilities included leading channel sales strategy for the MDU segment, managing sales effectiveness programs, and overseeing substantial teams across multiple states. Jerrod's career also includes roles at New World Mortgage as a manager and underwriter, where significant loan funding and underwriting took place, and earlier experience in law enforcement as a Senior Correctional Officer and in customer service with Citi. Jerrod served in the United States Army as an Ammunition Specialist, managing equipment and training soldiers. Jerrod holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University.
